About Service
LINE Travel is designed to help users to find out flight tickets and accommodations. It is easy to go over a number of deals at a time, as various travel agencies are involved in this service. Users can also reach what they are looking for with a few clicks. As the sole designer in this project, I was responsible for designing UI/UX and building brand image while collaborating with the BX team for the initial launch.
As a brand-new service in the travel business, we embarked on building everything from brand identity to UI/UX, which marked the third service launch within our e-commerce business
Project Goal
By creating another touchpoint for users, LINE can accelerate the e-commerce
LINE Travel aims to enable users to plan trips seamlessly within LINE by sending them messages from the LINE Travel Official Account about trip recommendations and trending topics featured on travel TV shows, allowing them to use LINE to search for and compare prices of flight tickets and hotels, and enabling them to find the best deals for their trip. By creating another touchpoint between users and businesses, LINE has been providing a unique and seamless shopping experience to users.
Home Layout Design
Capture attention instantly with priority information in the initial view
With the main function of searching for flights and hotels, various categories are displayed, such as the Hot Deal of the Month, popular areas, and recommended travel agencies which give opportunities for users to receive LINE Points. This layout clearly helps users to understand the entire content of the service.
Conceptual Design Iteration
Iterative design refinement to align with brand identity and ensure easy to use layout
Each iteration involved refining and adjusting elements to create a cohesive and visually appealing design that resonates with the established brand identity. Simultaneously, I focused on optimizing the layout for user-friendliness, considering ease of navigation and comprehension. This iterative approach allowed for continuous improvement, addressing any inconsistencies and refining the design.
